Discover the history of La Finca

We are Raphaëlle and Fabian, former teachers in specialized vocational education in Belgium. After years of supporting young people in difficulty, we chose to change our lives and write a new chapter under the Andalusian sun.

In 2024, we fell in love with an old finca lovingly renovated by Karl and Ana, a passionate sailing couple who had circumnavigated the globe aboard their sailboat, Maria. In homage to their work and their adventurous spirit, we decided to keep the name Finca Ana Maria for the estate.

Their memories are still present everywhere around us. The chain of their boat still stands on the property, like a symbolic anchor between past and present.

Our true story

Philosophy of sharing

Simplicity, authenticity, respect for life. Here, we live with nature, not against it. Our houses are designed to be comfortable without air conditioning, our crops are handcrafted, and our guests are welcomed as friends.

Our domain

Located in the province of Almeria, the finca covers approximately one hectare and is laid out on several levels. It includes:

• Orchards of orange trees, fig trees, pomegranate trees, almond trees, olive trees, etc.

• A wide variety of animals: cats, dogs, sheep, goats, poultry... each with its own personality!

• Two charming guest houses, a private pool on the estate and a magnificent view of the mountains.
